A Program of Blood n Fire ministry's Alaska
Our goal at Knik House is to provide temporary, long term and emergency housing for families, men, women, single parents, re-entry population and people with mental illness in the Mat Su Valley.
Knik House will be a Therapeutic Model Program designed to successfully habilitate and re-habilitate these people in need.
This program is not intended to be just a shelter. We offer skills needed to become self-sufficient.
Knik House was created in order to offer a solution-based, goal orientated program that will offer substantial remedies and education with regard to chronic homelessness, poverty, and crisis.
We provide a safe, sober, faith-based and stable environment for at risk or mentally ill people who are in housing crisis.
We help by offering shelter, food, clothing, parent education, family relationship counseling, self-sufficiency and respect.
Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
